COVID-19 update for Halcyon Counseling

In alignment with a low-volume, single-therapist private practice, the following precautions are being taken:

– Teletherapy sessions (2-way video) are available upon advance request. Please call or message via the online portal to make this request.

– If you have traveled to the mountain or ski areas of Colorado in the past two weeks, please do not attend in person. Instead, request a teletherapy session.

– If you are not feeling well or have been around someone who is not feeling well, please request a teletherapy session.

– Social distancing is being practiced. Only two people (clients and myself) will be in the suite at one time. We will greet one another with elbow bumps — no handshakes or hugs at this time. (We can do jazz hands if you’d like!)

– The waiting room has been closed. Please wait in your vehicle and come to the office at your scheduled time.

– The office and waiting room has been deep cleaned and sanitized. Client contact areas are being sanitized before and after every session.

– Mugs and cups are not being provided for beverages. Please bring your own container if you wish to have water or tea during your session.

I will continue to evaluate best practices as new information and guidance emerges. Rest assured, services will continue to be accessible, whether in-person or via teletherapy.

Be safe, be well, and be kind.
